Our Accommodation

Here you can enjoy a wonderful holiday as a couple, with the whole family, for that special occasion or as a large group of family and friends.
The Green Heart
The large 2.3 hectare (5 acres+) site is a haven for wildlife and relaxing. Bounded by fields, woods and our stream you can either find somewhere peaceful to sit, read, stroll or simply take in the view of the Dordogne's highest point.
Enjoy the sunset over the hills, the starling murmuration (autumn and winter especially) and then be amazed by the dark skies seeing the innumerable stars and Milky Way overhead on those cloudless nights.
Close to La Coquille and Thiviers and less than an hour from Brantome and Perigueux , we are ideally placed for exploring all the Dordogne has to offer. Limoges station (for direct links to Paris and beyond) and airport are just 40 minutes to the north.
Located in the north of the Dordogne, in the Perigord Vert, we are a short stroll (500m) to the eco-village of Saint Pierre de Frugie with small bio-grocery store and bistro. La Coquille (served by trains direct to Limoges and Bordeaux) is just 5km away. The market town of Thiviers is just a short drive (or slightly longer bike ride away)
We are on the Camino, Way of St James (Vezelay Route) and close by castle of Chalus-Chabrol on the Richard the Lionheart Trail.
Further south the sites of the Perigord Noir can be reached in around 90minutes. Perhaps enjoying a day trip to the awesome sites of Lascaux, La Roque Gageac, or Chateaunauld without the overwhelming tourist numbers for every day of your holiday!

And for those moments when you want to be a bit more active you will have use of our large lawns set in 2.3 hectares, playground equipment, trampoline, archery, secure swimming pool, table tennis, petanque, stocked bar with pool, darts and TV, and bicycle hire (or storage for your own)
